You will be met at your hotel by your travel expert and a unique mode of transport for today’s discovery of Bali’s Bukit Peninsula. Utilising a classic VW Kublewagon (vintage open-top jeep), we will cruise the roads with the wind in our hair and be able to see this beautiful coastal area from a different perspective.
Our adventure kicks off with a visit to Jimbaran, a charming coastal village. Here, you'll hop on a Jukung, a traditional Balinese fishing boat, for a gentle two-hour cruise along the Bukit Peninsula's coast. These unique boats, adorned with vibrant colours, rely on a single cloth sail to navigate the waters. While taking in the picturesque scenery, you can enjoy some light refreshments and snacks on board.
Upon your return to land, our Kublewagon driver and travel expert will be ready to greet you. We'll continue our journey along the southern road, passing through quaint seaside communities until we reach the stunning Balangan Beach.
After parking, a short walk will lead us to a cliffside spot, where a delightful picnic lunch awaits, sheltered by a traditional Balinese umbrella. From this vantage point, you can soak in breath-taking views of neighbouring beaches and the vast ocean.
Our exploration of Bali's Bukit Peninsula continues as we head south to the iconic Uluwatu Temple. Perched 70 meters above the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean, this ancient temple boasts archaeological remnants dating back to the tenth century and is home to a playful group of monkeys.
Next on our itinerary is Nyang Nyang Beach, a hidden gem spanning 1.5 kilometers and one of Bali's less crowded beaches. Here we can take a short stop to unwind in tranquillity and enjoy a refreshing coconut while absorbing the beach's peaceful vibes.
After a day of sun and exploration, bid farewell to our friendly Kubelwagon driver and prepare for relaxation at a clifftop spa overlooking the expansive Indian Ocean. Your pampering session includes a deeply relaxing couples' full-body massage in charming massage bales. As the sun sets on the horizon, the resort's Executive Chef will prepare a private dinner for you to enjoy while taking in the beauty of your surroundings, serenaded by the soothing sounds of the waves below.
