The morning is yours to enjoy at leisure as you prepare for an indulgent afternoon of fine spirits, coastal discovery, and one of Phuket’s most iconic sunset settings. As the experience begins with cocktail-making and rum tasting, a hearty lunch beforehand is recommended to ensure you’re comfortably prepared.

We begin at Chalong Bay Distillery, an award-winning boutique producer of handcrafted rum. Using sustainably sourced, single-origin Thai sugarcane and a traditional French copper still, the distillery produces a smooth, aromatic spirit that has gained international acclaim. We take part in a hands-on cocktail workshop led by a resident mixologist, learning to craft tropical-inspired drinks using ingredients such as lemongrass, kaffir lime, and coconut. A guided tasting follows, offering a chance to appreciate the subtle flavours that set Chalong Bay apart.

From here, we travel towards Cape Panwa, pausing at the peaceful Ao Yon Beach. Tucked along this quiet stretch of coastline is the UNG Pearl Farm, a family-run operation with over four decades of experience. We’re introduced to the delicate art of pearl farming—from oyster cultivation through to grading and selection. Inside the workshop, skilled artisans transform raw pearls into elegant jewellery, showcasing generations of craftsmanship.

Our final stop is Baba Nest, an exclusive rooftop lounge situated within the luxurious Sri Panwa estate. Frequently ranked among Asia’s finest sundowner spots, Baba Nest is renowned for its uninterrupted 360-degree views across the Andaman Sea. Plush floor seating, a sleek infinity pool, and a serene atmosphere make this a truly exceptional setting. Advance reservations are essential due to its limited capacity and high demand.

As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, we relax with a round of expertly crafted cocktails—perhaps a lemongrass martini or a passionfruit margarita—paired with a flavourful selection of Mexican-inspired tapas. The sky transforms from gold to crimson, the ocean glows in the fading light, and the moment feels effortlessly refined.

It’s a fitting finale to an afternoon celebrating craftsmanship, coastal charm, and the laid-back elegance that defines this corner of Phuket.

We begin the morning with a quiet stop at a local viewpoint to witness the sunrise. It’s a peaceful way to ease into the day, watching as the city gradually stirs to life. From here, we continue into Phuket Old Town, where the energy starts to build with the arrival of the morning market.

This lively marketplace is where the community comes together – vendors setting up their stalls, neighbours catching up over fresh produce, and the scent of herbs, spices, and grilled snacks filling the air. It’s a true slice of local life. With your travel expert alongside, we explore the maze of stalls and uncover the ingredients, flavours, and traditions that shape Southern Thai cuisine. There’s plenty to see, sample, and learn, from baskets of fragrant herbs to trays of just-fried savouries ready to be enjoyed on the spot.

After soaking up the buzz of the market, we settle in for a traditional Southern Thai breakfast. It’s a generous and satisfying spread: dim sum, soft steamed buns, rice soups, and grilled meats like juicy pork chops – all served with strong Thai tea or coffee. This is the kind of breakfast that fuels the rest of the day, and it’s best enjoyed the way locals do – slowly and together.

We then take a relaxed walk through the streets of Phuket Old Town. The area is rich in heritage, with rows of restored Sino-Portuguese buildings, colourful murals, and small shops that give the neighbourhood its distinctive charm. There’s time to pause, browse, and enjoy the slower pace of this historic quarter.

To complete the morning, we visit Wat Chalong, Phuket’s most significant Buddhist temple. With your travel expert, we explore the Grand Pagoda, which houses a revered relic of the Buddha, and hear about the lives of Luang Pho Cham and Luang Pho Chuang – two monks remembered for their spiritual guidance and compassion. There’s space for quiet reflection, and for those who wish, a chance to light incense or make a small offering. We finish with a gentle walk through the temple’s garden surroundings, bringing a thoughtful close to the morning’s experience.

There’s no better way to appreciate the full scale and beauty of the Phi Phi Islands than from the air. This helicopter journey takes us beyond the ordinary, offering a unique and serene perspective of one of Thailand’s most iconic destinations—far from the crowds and boat traffic that flood its shores each day. '

Our flight begins along Phuket’s dramatic west coast, a diverse and picturesque stretch where golden beaches meet lush green hills and rugged headlands. We soar above Kamala’s tranquil bay, the lively waterfront of Patong, and the soft curves of Karon and Kata Beaches. Following the coastline further south, we pass Nai Harn’s peaceful shores, each stop painting a different scene in this vibrant coastal landscape.

Leaving Phuket behind, we cross the sparkling waters of the Andaman Sea. Below us, small tropical islets and reefs drift past, including the brilliant white sands and clear shallows of Bamboo Island. The scenery shifts as the limestone cliffs of Phi Phi begin to rise from the sea—dramatic, cinematic, and unforgettable.

From above, the true grandeur of Phi Phi is laid bare. With its jungle-covered peaks, secret lagoons, and vivid turquoise bays, the island reveals a side that few travellers get to see. This is a destination often viewed from crowded speedboats or busy beaches, but up here, we experience it in total peace—suspended above it all, with nothing to distract from the natural beauty below.

And then comes the highlight: Maya Bay. Nestled in a sheltered cove and surrounded by sheer limestone cliffs, this is one of Thailand’s most photographed beaches. It was made famous worldwide as the filming location for the movie “The Beach” starring Leonardo DiCaprio, and since then, it has drawn crowds in the hundreds each day. From the ground, the experience can feel hurried and crowded—but from the air, it’s completely transformed. We see the entire bay at once—the curve of white sand, the brilliant blue waters, and the steep cliffs that frame it—all without ever having to jostle for space.

This is the true luxury of flying: the chance to see Maya Bay and Phi Phi Island as they really are, without the noise and movement that so often come with fame. It’s a rare moment of stillness above one of the world’s most beloved destinations—and a view that will stay with us long after we land.

Check out from your hotel this morning and transfer to Royal Phuket Marina, where your private luxury charter yacht awaits. Today marks the beginning of a slow and immersive journey through one of Southern Thailand’s most captivating seascapes — a chance to leave the mainland behind and settle into life at sea, surrounded by natural beauty and complete tranquillity.

As we step on board and set sail, the pace of the day shifts. The movement of the water, the soft sea breeze, and the wide-open horizon all invite us to relax and let go. With an experienced crew looking after every detail, we’re free to simply take it all in — and soon, the landscape begins to change around us.

We enter the protected waters of Phang Nga Bay, a marine area unlike anywhere else in Thailand. Wedged between the northeastern coast of Phuket and the southern stretch of the Thai mainland, the bay is part of a national park and spans over 400 square kilometres. What makes it truly iconic are the towering limestone karsts — sculptural rock formations that jut straight out of the sea, often covered in greenery and shaped by centuries of wind and water. Their sheer scale and silent presence create a sense of wonder that stays with us throughout the journey.

The bay’s calm, sheltered waters make it ideal for sailing, and its remote corners are often only accessible by boat. These hidden inlets and quiet coves offer moments of real solitude — far from the buzz of the mainland and perfect for swimming, kayaking, or simply drifting in the stillness of nature. The light here also has a character of its own — soft, filtered through mist or cloud, playing across the rock faces and reflecting off the emerald-green sea.

As the day moves gently forward, we allow the scenery to unfold around us. There is no rush. We may pause for a swim or paddle through a sea cave, or simply lie back on deck, watching the cliffs pass by in slow motion. It’s a day of reconnection — to nature, to rhythm, and to a different way of experiencing the world.

In the late afternoon, your yacht anchors in a secluded part of the bay. The sun begins its slow descent behind the cliffs, casting golden light across the water. It’s the perfect time for a final swim or a quiet drink on deck as the sky shifts into dusk. A freshly prepared dinner is served on board — a peaceful meal in an unforgettable setting. As night falls and the stars begin to appear above us, we settle in for our first evening at sea, surrounded by silence, sea, and the timeless beauty of Phang Nga Bay.

We begin our morning gently, cruising through calm waters toward Koh Pak Bia. Surrounded by striking natural beauty, we enjoy breakfast on board while the day slowly unfolds. This peaceful corner of the sea offers a sense of calm and exclusivity — a quiet stretch of tropical shoreline that feels worlds away from the everyday.

After breakfast, we continue to Koh Lao Lading, often referred to as “Paradise Island.” Here, dramatic limestone cliffs draped in lush greenery rise above secluded bays and tranquil inlets. It’s a picture of the Krabi region at its most serene — an ideal place to relax and take in the beauty of our surroundings.

Our journey then brings us to Koh Hong, one of the most captivating islands along the Krabi coastline. We have time here to swim in the crystal-clear lagoon, paddle through calm waters, or take a short hike to a nearby viewpoint for sweeping views across the Andaman Sea. With its white-sand beaches and vibrant coral reefs, Koh Hong offers a perfect mix of soft adventure and stillness.

As we enjoy lunch, we sail onwards to an area known for its remarkable marine life — a popular snorkelling spot with coral gardens rich in colour and texture. These waters are home to a wide range of marine species, from tiny shrimp and sea anemones to turtles, reef sharks, and, occasionally, even something larger passing through. It's a chance to see the underwater world at its most vibrant. In the late afternoon, we stop at Koh Khai, a cluster of small islands near the east coast of Phuket. With clear shallows, powdery sand, and schools of tropical fish swimming close to shore, it’s a final opportunity for a swim or to simply enjoy the gentle rhythm of the sea.

As the sun lowers over the horizon, we take in the last golden light shimmering across the water. Returning to the Phuket mainland, we transfer to the airport or your Phuket hotel.
