Sometimes in the rush to get from one place to the next we miss out on what lies between. With this itinerary, we take the time to explore some of the hidden gems that others only see from the windows of the Shinkansen bullet train as they fly past at 200 miles an hour.

The majestic Northern Alps are mainly contained within Nagano prefecture, where we spend our time in this program. We explore it’s rural villages, wildlife sanctuaries and encounter playful monkeys whilst being able to give back to the local communities we visit.
